Even though the UPG is an unglazed hookah bowl, we have yet to see a bleeding UPG. This is likely because the UPG bowl is produced using a pressing technique, which minimizes the porous structure of the clay.
If you've been smoking hookah for a while and have only used a hookah Phunnel before, you'll need to adjust to packing a traditional bowl. However, with a little practice, it's quite easy to master.
The most important thing when packing the UPG is not to pack the tobacco too tightly, as this can restrict airflow. The hookah tobacco should be placed loosely in the bowl.
